    • When Did You Find Out About Epilim and The Effects?
820798_4824666008559_1388620847_o http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2146918/Why-doctors-warning-new-Thalidomide.html Watching Granada Reports and the appeal for ladies who had taken the medicine Epilim to come forward, as they could have side affects on the growing foetus......literally changed my life.  I knew at that point my children who were very young had this condition...known as Fetal Anti Convulsant Syndrome (FACS) or Fetal Valproate Syndrome (FVS). How could I have gone through 5 pregnancies WITH NO MENTION AT ALL of the effects of this devastating drug, and how it would affect the baby?? We would like to hear your views ..... What age was you prescribed Epilim? Were you given Pre Conceptive Councilling? What are your feeling now? Come and have a chat and meet other parents. To all ladies who have taken Epilim and it has affected your child....... this IS NOT YOUR FAULT.  You were prescibed an NHS medicine to control the condition you were being treated for.  It is the fault of the drug company, Government and MHRA for not following guidelines that had been set
